When Intention Meets Innovation
Every great innovation begins with a decision. But why that decision?
Too often, innovation happens by accident—reactive, driven by change rather than choice. In one of my favorite stories from my Lift talk, a young girl asks her father why he always bakes small loaves of bread. After a few curious “whys,” he realizes they’d been following a limitation that no longer existed.
Intentional innovation begins the same way: by asking questions, slowing down long enough to listen, and reimagining what’s possible. When we take time to understand the why behind what we do, we move from reacting to creating.
